Staff have been helpful and prompt making sure we got a po box the same day I stopped in to ask for one and they have always made sure mislabeled mail got delivered and held the packages for us. As a resident of black diamond I have never had any issues.

We had our project quoted and although some items changed, the guys at LT helped with cost saving measures to stick to the budget and kept the build on time with a extremely difficult excavation. Blast from the past diner. We went with another family on a long weekend. Great drive to Black Diamond and then we had an original chocolate shake and a peanut butter burger... yes it was good. Another person in our group got the Elvis burger, which we found included the owner coming out with his guitar and singing an Elvis song. Great fun!

They have excellent meats, comparable in cost to big box stores in Calgary.
Produce is fresh and fruit from BC available outside all summer.
They sell local and organic foods, and surprisingly offer some specialty items.
It's become my main grocery store so I don't shop often in bigger cities.

I had occasion to visit the Emergency centre at Oilfields Hospital last with a hand wound. I saw a Doctor immediately, hand my hand x-rayed, the wound cleaned, stitched and repaired in less time than would have been required to see a triage nurse at any of the Calgary hospitals. We are so fortunate to have facilities and competent medical staff availble in our rural area.
